Searching for her Mr Not Right

20130423-123237.jpg

On the hill lies a dilapidated bungalow
Mango trees surrounding it wildly grows
A solitary owl hidden amongst the trees
Hoots its lonely cry breaking the silence of the night
A willowy figure in white
Stands at the edge of the third floor balcony
Pacing as if waiting for her elusive lover
Who squandered her family fortune on a dodgy business venture
Adding salt to her grievous wound
He absconded with her pregnant housemaid
Some say she killed herself, unable to withstand the heart pain
With Camembert laced with poison and a flute of champagne
And that svelte figure we see wearing white
Was her ghost searching for her Mr Not Right.
