NaPoWriMo Post #5 My goddaughter

The challenge for day 5 of NaPoWriMo is to compose a cinquain. Challenge accepted but I’m not quite sure if it’s right. Anyways, here it goes, a cinquain of a super adorable baby who lives in Brisbane, loves people watching at Starbucks and chilling out on her red bean bag.

My Goddaughter

Kaylyn
Dreamy darling
Sleeping, playing, wiggling
Kaylyn hates waves touching her feet.

What a lovely poem. I’ve not heard of cinquains. This one has the feel of an ancient inscription, timeless.
