			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div class='snap_preview'><br /><p>What can be better other then hanging out with your family on a Friday night at Terminal 2? Korean BBQ Short Beef Ribs! I love ribs, and most especially beef ribs. Mom usually uses beef ribs to make Rawon, a kind of a dark stew that uses buah keluak a black and bitter nut in which we only use the flesh of the nut, while with mutton ribs she makes dalcha with lots of brinjal and ladysfingers. So that&#8217;s why when we eat out, I make it a point to order ribs cooked in a different manner, like at Breeks with a sweet and tangy barbeque sauce or at JWOK with a  thick sweet glaze. At Fresh Bulgogi all meat are served to you raw. They provide a set of 3 sauces, I think one&#8217;s garlic, the other is probably green chilli and corriander and gojuchang sauce which is a thick red and sweet bean paste. You can either dip the ribs into the sauce and lay it on the griddle and hear the sweet sounds of meat sizzling. Or you could just be like me, just pure meat, unadulterated beefy goodness <img src='http://s.wordpress.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' />  I like my meat cooked till medium, when you bite into them, it just melts like butter. <p>The duck rice at Enak Rasa Thai Seafood Restaurant is pretty popular, so much so, that by 9 pm, they usually run out of it. Too bad for me that I usually end up there 10 mins past 9pm. But one lucky evening, I got there about 8:50pm, closed the shop earlier coz I was determined to try this dish that my dad and brother were raving about. It was worth it. The duck wasn&#8217;t gamey at all but oh so juicy. The best part of the dish, was not just the duck but the sambal that accompanied it. It was made with dried shrimps I think, when mixed with the duck and white rice makes a killer combo. Quite yummy <img src='http://s.wordpress.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' />  But then the duck here cannot be compared to the crispy roasted pipa ducks from Razack&#8217;s. My tummy rumbles just thinking about it. Didn&#8217;t manage to take a picture the last time we went there, just trust me on this it was really really really good. It didn&#8217;t even need a dipping sauce, just perfect on its own. Only thing though, you have to pre-order it, so give them a call first before heading down.</p>

Didn&#8217;t get the same feeling here, so I didn&#8217;t spend a cent at all. Left the store feeling like it was a total letdown. The only way to perk my spirits up was duck! I like duck, don&#8217;t usually eat it, but if I see it on a menu, I&#8217;d definitely order it. It&#8217;s really rare to find halal duck dishes in restaurants, usually we&#8217;d be able to find only roast duck rice at halal family eateries around Singapore.</p>
<p>So I dragged Steph to Bistro Delifrance because I wanted to try out their duck offerings :) I wasn&#8217;t disappointed, I ordered duck mango salad and duck confit,which they don&#8217;t serve anymore <img src='http://s.wordpress.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_sad.gif' alt=':(' class='wp-smiley' />  . Steph ordered a mug of french onion soup and seafood baked rice. I LOVE the duck salad! The smoked duck breast was perfectly paired with a honey vinaigrette and chunks of juicy mango. The salad made my evening slightly better afterwards.</p>
