Fresh Bulgogi

I’m taking a mental note not to go there on a Saturday night. My family and I went to the branch at Terminal 2, dang were they packed! We ordered 2 types of 2-in-1 hot pot and bbq, short beef ribs, crispy spinach, 4 sets of namul and kimchi. Not too many stuff ordered compared to the last time we were there. Perhaps it was due to the fact that I was way too exhausted and sick to eat. Anyways, the stock base that we chose was kimchi, mummy decided to make it spicier by adding the condiments that the provided for us, like the gochujang and the green dipping sauce and garlic sauce, it made the kimchi soup so spicy and so nice on such a rainy cold night. I like meat, being vegetarian for 2 1/2 years in Australia, did my figure good but nothing beats the taste of thinly sliced beef thats slowly swirled in hot kimchi stock letting it change into a shade of slightly light pink before resting it on a bed of sticky rice. Heavenly. The crispy spinach was a good appetiser but the star of the night was the short beef ribs, sweet and succulent after bbqing it for a while, it was just gorgeous I know that’s not a word one describes beef, but it was simply delightful to rip the sweet meat off the bone. The salmon sashimi was thick and fresh. Next time, I’m gonna try the bibim baps there of which they have several varietys. I love the food, but dislike the smell of smoke in my hair hours afterwards.  Good place to take the family to for a halal korean meal.
